Regular attenders at A&E
<p>By definition, the ‘regular attender’ is well known to the emergency nurse. Most of us would agree with the findings of Mandelberg et al (2000) that a small number of patients make frequent attendances at emergency departments and account for a disproportionate amount of the total A&E workload.</p>
