<p>Familial hypercholesterolaemia is a genetic condition characterised by high cholesterol levels in the blood and an increased risk of premature coronary heart disease. In this article, the authors reviewthe clinical features, pathology, epidemiology and clinical managementof this often underdiagnosed condition.</p>
