NHS nursing jobs: employers told to fix poor role descriptions
Many job descriptions for NHS nursing and midwifery staff are of poor quality and employers need to urgently review and update them, says the NHS Staff Council, which is close to completing revised national job matching profiles to be published in early June. The updated profiles will better reflect modern clinical practice and be written more clearly, says the council, which wants employers to immediately begin discussions and make plans to ensure accurate job evaluation.
