NHS pay offer: is 5.5% the first step to a fair deal for nurses?
NHS nursing staff have been offered a 5.5% pay award for 2024-25. The RCN, along with other unions, is consulting members on the award, and says pay must be restored. Some may see this as a step forward, others not nearly enough after years of pay stagnation.
